The Presidency
The Network’s presidency is held, on an annual basis, by the President of the Authority which has organized the latest meeting. The Vice-Presidency is held, for the same period, by the President of the Authority in charge of the next meeting’s organization.
Since the 9th meeting in Marrakech on 29-30 november 2007, the Presidency of the Network is held by Mr. Ahmed Ghazali, President of the moroccan Haute Autorité de la communication audiovisuelle and former vice-president of teh network. He succeeded to Mr. Josep Maria Carbonell, president of the Consell de l'Audiovisual de Catalnuya. Mr. Corrado Calabro, President of the italian Autorita per le Garanzie nelle Communicazione has been appointed Vice-President of the Network. The italian Authority will organize the next meeting in 2008. The Presidency is assisted by a General Secretariat which coordination is ensured by the French Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel, in association with the Cyprus Radio and Television Authority and the Consell de l’Audiovisual de Catalunya.
